Leather Features
- Franklin leather is specifically designed to withstand the rigorous use of motion furniture; the leather will not stretch out of shape.
- Leather outlasts fabric at least four to one.
- Each piece of leather has its own unique markings and its own personality. Barbed wire nicks, briar scratches and brands are all distinctive marks that contribute to the beauty and value of leather.
- Leather is a natural product so it is inherently strong and durable and resists tearing and cracking.
- Unlike vinyl, leather breathes for comfort.
Care of Leather
- Virtually all customer complaints with leather upholstery come from over aggressive or improper cleaning.
- For regular cleaning simply vacuum over the leather then use a soft cloth moistened in a warm mild soap solution. Be sure to vigorously wring the cloth. Wipe the leather in a circular motion being careful to not to saturate it. Repeat with clean water.
- Do not use spray polishes, saddle soaps, waxes or leather food as these may damage the leather.
- Protect your leather furniture from the direct sunlight, excessive heat, and sharp objects to extend normal wear.
- Your new leather purchase will give you years of enjoyment provided you follow these simple steps in caring for it.
