If your stain is a Class A Stain, then follow these steps:

  1. You will need the following materials: clean tap water, clear liquid dish detergent without dye, clean absorbent white cloth (such as t-shirt)

Add 1/4 teaspoon dish detergent to 1 cup of water and stir. Apply enough cleaning solution to the absorbent white cloth to wet the stained area thoroughly. Gently massage the stained area in a circular motion from the outside edge to the center. Blot to remove the staining substance. Wet an absorbent white cloth with clean water and rinse the area thoroughly to remove the residue. Blot dry with an absorbent white cloth.

Often Step 1 will remove the stain without further cleaning . If the stain is still visible, continue with Step 2, except in the following instance: For acid toilet bowl cleaner stains, DO NOT proceed past step 1. Follow cleaning with a thorough clean water rinse and blot dry.

  2. You will need the following materials: clean tap water, ammonia, clean absorbent white cloth (such as t-shirt).

Note: Follow all label precautions on the ammonia container.

Add 1/2 cup of ammonia to 1 cup of water and mix. Apply enough cleaning solution the absorbent white cloth to wet the stained area thoroughly. Gently massage the stained area in a circular motion from the outside edge to the center. Blot to remove the staining substance. Wet an absorbent white cloth with clean water and rinse the area thoroughly to remove the residue. Blot dry with an absorbent white cloth. If the stain remains go back to Step1 and repeat the process.
